A practical note for consumers

As a general rule, a consumer may withdraw from a contract concluded via an online shop without giving any reason within 14 days of receiving the goods. To meet the deadline, it is sufficient to send notice of withdrawal before the deadline expires.

The consumer is then obliged to send or hand over the goods to the seller without undue delay, no later than 14 days from the date of withdrawal from the contract.

The right of withdrawal does not apply in cases specified by law, such as goods manufactured to the consumer’s specifications or tailored to their personal needs.

The use of this form is not compulsory. The consumer may also give notice of withdrawal by other unambiguous means.
